The kodak moment

Composition:
Contrast: I feel that the contrast has come out well at the end. Initially when I clicked this picture it did not look that great, Photo RAW helped me a lot to bring a good contrast to the image. Now the subject stands out nicely in this image.
Focus: In this image the focus is on the squirrel. We can see how the bushes in the foreground and the background are totally blurred, making the squirrel stand out well.
Lighting: Initially I felt the lighting in the background was way too much, but I fell if it was darker the subject wouldn't have come out that well.

Concept/Aboutness/Idea -This picture bought a feeling of innocence to my mind. And I found the pose of the squirrel very interesting.

Method/motivation:
This was a random picture, I clicked while I was walking around the Red Cedar River, MSU. I used a telephoto lens, with the angle of eye level of the subject.

Context:
This image was one of those which are called the Kodak Moment. I found this pose of the squirrel really attracting to take a picture of and to show shallow dept of field at fast shutter speed.

Part 2:

Interpretation: The reaction of most of my classmates was exactly what my title is. I fell it interprets what I want to convey.

Evaluation: Everyone found the image very cute and also liked the framing and composition. I would like to click such an image on a cloudy day with soft light.

Extension: I would like to make bunch of more random photographs of animals with the Kodak moment.
