A. Series: Brainstorm various ways to make a “series” of photographic images.

• Use bunch of photographs to narrate a story a scene.
• Take photographs of the same subject with different surroundings/backgrounds.
• Take Photographs of different subjects in the same surroundings/backgrounds.
• Take photographs of different subjects of the same category. (Should relate in a similar way)

There could be hundreds of different ways to make a series of photographs. The key point is to keep something similar in all the photographs, so it could be related and put together as a series.

B. Final Project: Your final project in this class will be designed by you. If you could tackle any photography project, what would it be? You could combine other media with photography (video, sculpture, drawing) or you could take one of your earlier assignments and expand it to create a larger project. If you are expanding an earlier project or creating an entirely new series of images, shoot for a series of at least 5 images. Describe an idea you have for your final project. 

I would like to make series of a photograph I clicked earlier in this class. I would like choose the photograph called "Expectations Recreated" from the portraiture assignment. This photograph was a recreation of a painting by one of the worlds most renowned artist named "Raja Ravi Verma". I chose this photograph because I got the most compliments and positive comments on this photograph. So I would want to work on what I am best in. My idea is to create a series of photographs to show different attires women wear across India. I will be taking the pictures with a similar old fashioned portrait look, might recreate some more paintings by Raja Ravi Verma and similar artists.
