Composition:
Framing: This picture looks appealing just because of its framing. The angle of the picture gives a sense of uniqueness and depth to the picture.
Focus:I clicked this image through a glass, which had many large horizontal stripes on it. I clicked this picture
Orientation (portrait or landscape): I have clicked a landscape photograph to get most of the body of the plane and to show the workers working on the plane and also to show the planes location.
Concept/Aboutness/Idea:
I clicked the image to show a part of an aircraft's day to day life. How hundreds of planes are parked at their designated gate when they arrive and how the workers carry on with their maintenance and refueling tasks .
Method/motivation:
My motivations behind this image was an idea in my mind and my long wait at the airport. When I saw this plane at the airport, it right away caught my eye, and I took the picture before I missed the moment.

Comments from my classmates:
Great angle, Good work with burning and dodging although can see a black halo next to the worker working on the tire. The image stands out well.

Enjoying an evening swim
Enjoying an evening swim
Composition:
Amount of subject to show in frame: I have included the whole body of the subject along with some habitat around the subject to show a duck enjoying its evening swim, just like how humans go on a walk in the evening.
Focus: My focus in this Image is on the duck, as one can see the foreground and background of the image is blurred while the duck looks sharp.
Background Elements: I have clicked this image without any elements around the subject besides water. Because I wanted the viewers to just look at the duck without any other elements in the picture.
Concept/Aboutness/Idea:
I clicked the image to show a peaceful moment of a ducks life.
Method/motivation:
I was roaming around the Red Cedar River at Michigan State University when I saw a duck in the river which was very close to the river shore, it looked very pretty and was in the scope to click a good picture.
Context:
I feel this image shows a very peaceful and content moment. Also it looks very soothing to the eyes,to me water always gives a very soothing feeling.Part 2:
My classmates really liked the image. Apart from many of them felt that the duck was merging with the background, and wanted me to work little more on burning and dodging. Although some of my classmates also felt that the camouflage of the duck into the water actually made it better.

Emotions
Emotions
Composition:
Amount of subject to show in frame: I have included the full writing on the wall, along with the space where it was written.
Background elements: There are a lot of there elements in frame. Like the vent in the wall, the tree branch, the buildings corner, the ground. All these elements give this image a sense of where was this written and makes the viewer think.
Lighting: I have altered the image in a way, which makes it look like natural light is falling right on the writing. And everything else is slightly darker.

Concept/Aboutness/Idea:
I clicked the image to show how sometimes written emotions can have a very deep impact on our hearts.
Method/motivation:
I saw this writing on the wall and it did have a impact on my heart, so I thought of capturing this image to show how a writing could also melt our hearts.
Context:
I think this image is self explanatory, and clearly expresses a deep emotion. Part 2:
All my classmates liked the image. They would want me to work on the image to make the other wall in the image dark/rustic too. As the other wall looks very white and is slightly distracting.
Part1:
A web of deforestation
A web of deforestation
Composition:
Framing: Framing has played a very important role in this picture. I framed the subject as such that one can see only about 3/4 of the tree stump. Which makes it look appealing and interesting
Placement of subject in frame: I have placed on the subject in the frame, although I did not place the subjects center in the center of the frame but in the top left center of the frame.
Visual Design Elements: The texture of this trees stump gives the image a very unique abstract look and makes it look like a web. One can also see the age lines of the tree.

Concept/Aboutness/Idea:
I clicked the image to show a different way of viewing at things, an undiscovered territory. This image shows the subject in a way a human usually doesn't look at the subject.
Method/motivation:
I was walking besides the Red Cedar River at Michigan State University when I saw this cut tree stump. And the texture and age lines on it caught my eyes.
Context:
I feel this image can be interpreted in different manners. It could be considered as an abstract image and it could be used to show deforestation of trees.Part 2:
My classmates found this image as one of the best ones I clicked. I also got a idea from my classmates that I could display this image in any way I want. It looks good however I display it.
