  1. Your use of contrast in all of them are very nice. The last one is soothing and I enjoy the composition. The recreation of "The Ring" scares me a little, its really intense. But my favorite is the remake of the painting. It looks so natural. Nice job!

  2. The second one is my favorite! The image is soft, but still crisp. The light seems to create a halo around her and the contrast is strong. The model is also quite pretty! :)

  3. I like all of these. Its kinda hard to pick a favorite. But maybe the one with the girl and the cat. They are all really good though. Great lighting in all of them. I think the last one would be a little bit more interesting if you could create more contrasting lighting. Very cool though.

  5. Your remake of the lady in traditional Indian wear is even better than the original. I especially like the lighting. All images are good but if I have to pick just one, I like the kissing couple the best, I guess because the image was so awesomely sharp and clear!

  6. the ring image is a keeper with a tiny bit of fixing around the selection on the left of her body.
the water image is a keeper as is because it does express an emotion that is rarely seen. i would also vote for the recreation of the painting. good job getting that gradient to work. of the cat images, i think the second works well compositionally and with the cat's eyes closed to convey a sense of peacefulness.

  7. I agree, the use of contrast in all of your images is well done - I think my favorite is your third image; she looks very happy holding her cat and the cat looks very happy to be held! The one underneath that is nice as well - I like the subtle darks with all the lights.

  8. I really like the recreation of the painting. the posing, the lighting, and the details cooperated very well. i really like how you lightened up the background to make her stand out. very nice shot!

  9. I really like the aperture one with the girl and the blurred out background, it seems so intense. All of them are really great shots! Your recreation is more scary than the original!

  10. I like all of them a ton! I really like the last one the model looks so peaceful. I think the second and fourth ones are my favorite. The lighting looks really good and you can get an idea of what the models are feeling.

  11. 1. I love the cat's posture…pure awesome

    2. Spot on…props on the lighting

    3. You've gotta print this one dude…it's the best out of this set for sure

    4. I'm digging the lack of contrast between the subject's top and the background

    5. I think because the subject's looking at the camera, your version's creepier

    6. There's quite a bit of passion and tension in this photo…I wish the girl's arm wasn't blurred though

    7. I love how hard the edge of his face stands out against the white wall…if you reshot this, I'd suggest taking out the cork…might make things seem a little less posed :D

  12. These are all really excellent! I like how dramatic and commercial they are. Some of them look like they could be used in advertisements. The ring girls is creepy- how did you get the light around her shoulders?
